How It Works
-
Wound Healing & Tissue Repair: Stimulates production of collagen, glycosaminoglycans, and new blood vessels (angiogenesis).
-
Anti-Inflammatory: Reduces oxidative stress and inflammation at the cellular level.
-
Hair Growth: Encourages follicle stem cell proliferation and may extend the anagen (growth) phase of hair.
-
Skin Regeneration: Improves skin elasticity, reduces fine lines, and enhances skin tone.
-
Copper Transport: Delivers essential copper to tissues, which is crucial for healing and mitochondrial function.
How to Use GHK-Cu
-
Dosage:
-
Injectable: Common dosing is 100–200 mcg per day, subcutaneously. Some protocols go up to 1–2 mg/day for short durations.
-
Topical (for hair or skin): 0.05–0.1% GHK-Cu solution or cream, applied 1–2x daily.
-
-
Frequency:
-
Injectable: Daily subcutaneous injection, ideally in the morning or post-workout.
-
Topical: 1–2x daily depending on application area.
-
-
Cycle Length:
-
4–8 weeks for skin or hair benefits. Can be used longer for injury recovery or anti-aging. Topical use can be ongoing.
-
-
Stacking:
-
Combines well with BPC-157 and TB-500 for injury recovery.
-
Often stacked with Microneedling or Minoxidil for hair regrowth.
-
May be added to anti-aging stacks involving Epitalon, CJC/Ipamorelin, or NAD+ protocols.
-
-
Post-Cycle Consideration:
-
None required. This is not hormone-suppressive and doesn’t alter HPTA function.
-
-
Precautions:
-
Copper peptides can occasionally cause mild irritation if injected near sensitive areas or if using impure product.
-
Avoid overuse—more is not always better with GHK-Cu.
-
Ensure you’re using properly compounded pharmaceutical-grade peptides.
