How It Works
YK-11 binds to androgen receptors in muscle and bone tissue, triggering anabolic signals that enhance protein synthesis and muscle growth. In addition, it promotes the expression of follistatin, which suppresses myostatin — removing a “growth cap” on muscles. The result can be rapid hypertrophy and strength gains. However, because YK-11 has steroid-like properties, it may cause more pronounced suppression of natural testosterone compared to other SARMs.
How to Use It
-
Dosage: Commonly 5–10 mg daily for men; women typically stay lower at 2–5 mg daily. Beginners often start on the low end to assess tolerance.
-
Frequency: Due to its short half-life (~6–10 hours), split dosing (morning & evening) can help maintain stable levels.
-
Cycle Length: Usually 4–8 weeks to balance results with safety. Longer cycles increase the risk of side effects.
-
Stacking: Often stacked with SARMs like LGD-4033 for bulk or Cardarine for endurance. Can be combined with testosterone in advanced cycles but increases suppression risk.
-
Post-Cycle Therapy (PCT): Strongly recommended due to significant suppression. Common PCT agents include Nolvadex or Clomid for 4–6 weeks.
-
Precautions: Avoid high doses early, monitor liver health, and be aware of potential androgenic side effects.
