You’ve likely heard of SARMs if you’re even remotely familiar with anabolic steroids. While they’re not necessarily the most popular supplement, they are very useful within certain groups of users for their ability to target androgen receptors in different parts of the body selectively. This ability makes SARMs very medically valuable when treatments to very specific areas of the body are needed. This selective functioning of SARMs can also help eliminate side effects by avoiding parts of the body that aren’t supposed to interact with it.

With that said, as far as we’ve come, SARMs are still in limbo between development phases. While we’re able to narrow down to specific areas of the body to target, science has yet to be 100% selective with zero impact on non-targeted tissues, meaning we still can’t get total anabolic effects on the muscle and bones without some androgenic side effect. The result of this is mostly centered on side effects concerning the prostate in men.

Despite this, the truly powerful nature of SARMs such as the Ostarine and Ligandrol give them a very impressive anabolic to androgenic ratio that overpowers the use of testosterone in most cases. The only downside is, bodybuilders using SARMs at higher than medical doses have a greater risk of experiencing virilization side effects. It is recommended for those new to SARMs to consult an expert first to find the proper safe dosages.

SARMs in Liquid Form Versus SARMs in Capsules

The majority of SARMs come in two forms. Either in liquid form, or in the form of capsules. Chemically they are both the same, with the liquid being the purest form of SARM and capsules having slight alterations in ingredients.

All it really comes down to is preference, as long as you trust your supply source. It’s a bit complex, but SARMs in capsule form is usually more difficult to acquire than SARMs in liquid form. In certain areas of North America, SARMs in liquid form is legal as research material, and hence produced in licensed laboratories. On the other hand, since capsules have been developed into a form that is obviously intended for human consumption, SARMs in capsule form is yet to be legalized. For this reason, SARMs capsules cannot be developed in licensed laboratories, and hence carry extra risk if you are shopping from a supplier you’re not familiar with.
